Mark W. White, MD, FACS

Bio

Mark White, MD, FACS is a Board Certified General Surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. White was born and raised in Ormond Beach where his father practiced Pediatric medicine. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his 5-year surgical residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. White returned to the Daytona Beach area in 2001 to begin his practice in surgery. His surgical interests include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, diseases of the breast, and hernia surgery. He works with the Florida State University College of Medicine students as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery. He is also an instructor for the American College of Surgeons Advanced Trauma Life Support course. Outside of work he enjoys golf, surfing, and traveling with his friends and family all over the world.
